What is EFT ? ( TAPPING )

Tapping is a holistic healing technique that combines the principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology. It is a healing technique that has been proven to effectively manage and often eliminate multiple issues that include, but are not limited to; stress reduction, anxiety & panic, phobias, emotional disorders, chronic pain, addictions, weight control and limiting beliefs that prevent an individual from achieving personal success.

Tapping with the fingertips on specific body meridians, while focusing on negative emotions or physical sensations, helps to calm the nervous system, rewire the brain to respond in healthier ways, and restore the body’s balance of physical and emotional energy.

 

HOW DOES IT WORK ?

Tapping makes full use of the mind-body connection, integrating the concept that our physical and mental well-being is intricately connected.

Our bodies are equipped with an energy system that travels along pathways known as meridians. Tapping on these meridians points helps to stimulate this energy system, and when combined with verbal and mental scripts directed at the root causes of distress, these areas of blocked energy in our bodies are able to release and flow naturally.

The technique of Tapping requires you to focus on the negative emotion at hand - a fear, a worry, a bad memory, an unresolved problem, or anything that’s bothering you. While maintaining your mental focus on this issue, you use your fingertips to tap on the specific meridian points of the body.

Tapping engages both the brain’s limbic system and the body’s energy system, encouraging a sense of safety and resolution.  By changing your emotions and beliefs, external changes in your mental & physical health will follow.

Tapping is simple and painless and is administered on you with the guidance of a Tapping practitioner.
